RULE OF LAW AND THE ENFORCEMENT OF FUNDAMENTAL HUMAN RIGHTS IN NIGERIA: A CRITIQUE OF THE NORM

The rule of law and respect of fundamental human rights are vital
ingredients of a strong democratic state. Nigeria, supposedly a
democratic state is expected to respect these pillars for a progressive
democracy. This paper borders on how the rule of law and
fundamental human rights are respected and offered solutions on
how to deal with violations of those vital pillars of democracy.
